Nomads On a Mission Active in Divine Service

The Nomads is a mission outreach ministry of United Methodists and is looking for new members.  This may just be the type of mission work you are looking for.  Nomads are people who are usually retired, enjoy traveling in an RV, are looking for a purpose and personal mission, want to share their Christian faith, and enjoy using their skills in service to others.  The types of projects that NOMADS do include maintenance, repairs, new construction, office work, painting, sewing, childcare, gardening etc.  Benefits include fellowship, meeting new people and making friends; joys of using hands for Christ’s mission; traveling to different cultures, lifestyles, geographic areas year round; ability to request projects of choice; and places to park your RV with electricity and water and sewage dump.
